  • Mining, mineral industries’ imports shrink 33% in 11 months


    TEHRAN, Mar. 26 (MNA) – According to the statistics of the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA), imports of mining and mineral industries into the country experienced a significant 33 percent decline in 11 months of the last Iranian calendar year in 1397 (March 21 – Feb. 21) in terms of value as compared to the same period of last year (ended March 20, 2018).

  • Cement exports up by 4% in 11 months

    TEHRAN, Mar. 25 (MNA) – Statistics of Iran’s foreign trade in mining and mineral industries’ sector showed that 12,652,000 tons of cement was exported from the country in 11 months of the last Iranian calendar year (March 21 – Feb. 21), registering a significant 4 percent growth as compared to the last year’s corresponding period.

    TEHRAN, Mar. 24 (MNA) – The first sophisticated domestically-produced ferry passenger and tourist ship, with the capacity of 220 passengers, joined the naval fleet late on Saturday in the presence of Vice-President for Science and Technology Sorena Sattari and managing director of Kish Free Zone.
